DESCRIPTION:with Abraham & Halima Sussman\, Malika Salazar\, Tajali Tolan & Friends in Royalston\, MA. This year’s retreat allows us to tune into our natural rhythms and demonstrate peace and harmony. We gather to BE present together\, to practice simple presence with Walks and Dances\, Zikr\, Meditation\, Silence\, Listening\, Kirtan and Yoga. The retreat begins Thursday with supper and continues until Sunday afternoon. We meet in the refuge of beautiful nature at a country home with attached barns\, dance yurt\, outside dance circle\, hot showers\, good sweet water to drink\, lake for swimming\, soft land to walk on and fresh air to breathe\, Easy camping and good company as well! DESCRIPTION:HOLDING HANDS\, HOLDING HEARTS \nCome join us for this special event in Sedona\, as Shivadam is the invited guest leader! \nThe Dances of Universal Peace are a form of circle dances utilizing\nmovement and sacred phrases from many of the world’s spiritual traditions. \nThe Dances are stewarded by Sufi Ruhaniat International\, which holds\nthe container of the teachings\, materials\, and lineage of this work.\nThis local gathering is being brought together by members of the Phoenix\ncommunity to help make space for the Dances to be experienced in person. \nThis event will be led by experienced dance leader\, Shivadam. \nThis Meetup is for anyone who likes to dance\, sing\, and learn about and celebrate the world’s spiritual traditions while enlivening the heart and awakening the spirit. We create the live music together. \nCircling to share and explore\, uplift\, and celebrate the essential unity of the people of all cultural traditions\, we embody prayer through dance\, walk\, and sacred phrase. Explore dances that lead us to meditative consciousness and inner peace. For more nearly 60 years in gatherings around the world the Dances of Universal Peace are a form of circle dance utilizing movement and sacred phrases from the world’s spiritual traditions. \nAll words\, songs and movements are taught by the leader. No experience or partner required. Everyone is welcome! \nSuggested offering: $10 (In these difficult times\, as always\, no one is turned away for lack of funds. DESCRIPTION:We are a gathering in of beloveds\, caravanning together. Dance mentors\, dance leaders\, musicians\, dance leaders-in-training\, and what we call our ‘deep dancers’. Our purpose is to deepen in devotion\, embodiment\, skill\, and joy together\, and to return to our lives nourished\, resourced\, inspired to continue the work of loving this world into beauty! \nMain mentor-teachers Tajali Teresa Tolan and Kathryn Ashera Rose\, accompanied by many other beloveds co-creating the journey. \nAnnually\, every August. \n
