DESCRIPTION:Come join us for four days of dancing and music in central Idaho. The Salmon Wild River Camp is led by fabulous Dances of Universal Peace leaders from Idaho\, Montana and beyond. This diverse team will carry us through the many spiritual traditions of the world in the ancient practice of community circle dance. \nStill only $50 per person for 2025! \nNo experience or partner needed in the Dances of Universal Peace. Each dance is taught in place: we are given a short song\, easy steps\, and the meaning (or attunement) of what we are doing. We set up the song and then go. It’s as easy as that. You become the musical instrument in a circle of fellow human beings. We can do songs from native sources\, Christianity\, Judaism\, eastern Sufi sources and more. Often they are inspiring poems. \nThe magic is the circle. Each person (you included) is what creates the magic. Humans evolved singing and celebrating in circle dance. As soon as you step into the circle you’ll know you are home. \nFrom Zareen: My goal for this camp is to provide an inexpensive space where we can all come together\, sing dance\, and also dive deeper into new possibilities. We will explore things we haven’t really thought about such as: How science and spirituality intersect\, the conditioned mind and community issues\, the non-dual wisdom of Turtle Island. Most important is how we use this time to recreate ourselves into co-creating relatives of the world rather than individual consumers. DESCRIPTION:For the first year\, thanks to the efforts of Susan Ullman\, the Dances of Universal Peace are a main feature of the festival. (Thank you Susan for all this work\, and thank you and Nuriya for first presenting the Dances there!) \nWe will have our Tent as a Dance space\, with shared camping and our kitchen set-up nearby. Mentor leaders Sky Roshay and Shivadam Burke\, joined by Bernie Skydrummer and Hassan Raven Wolf\, will focalize the sessions and workshops\, with support from Susan and other local leaders and musicians. Wade Hanson is our Tent Boss\, Dennis Roshay will provide sound and lighting support as well as photography and videography. \nIt is an ambitious outreach project\, with the potential to reach hundreds of adults of all ages\, including families with children\, and you can be part of it: \n• Come to SanghaFest and be part of the DUP presence! Four day festival tickets are $150 through December 31; as of January 1 they will be $200. Our promo code\, for a 5% discount\, is DUP.  Walk in tent camping is free; car camping is an extra $60; RV sites are more (and must be reserved). We will also be able to attend all the other Festival events: kirtan\, ecstatic Dance\, sound baths\, yoga\, etc etc. \n• Support us with a contribution. SUMMARY:Bilingual Dance Leader Training
DESCRIPTION:Our fourth multicultural/Bilingual Dance Retreat in Troncones\, Mexico\, with Dance Leader Training featuring Senior Mentor Leader Darvesha MacDonald\, with Elizabeth Dequine\, Luis Vizcaino and Ishtar Cynthia Valenzuela and other leaders from Latin America and North America. Register Here \nWe encourage dancers\, leaders and musicians to deepen their practice and attunement to the dances and to the beauty of the culture and nature around us. \nInstruction will be provided in both Spanish and English. \nThe retreat will include two dance sessions each day\, with time for reflection\, dance instruction\, playing music and relaxing on the beach. \n
