DESCRIPTION:Join Leilah Be for The Way of the Radiant Heart Retreat  in Longmont Colorado\, September 4th thru 6th\, Thursday thru Saturday. Activities include the Sufi practice of Zikr\, teaching\, inquiry\, singing\, chanting\, and Dances of Universal Peace accompanied by live music.  Our incredible chef Sadiqq will cook lunch each day and dinner on Friday. We will begin at 9:30am Thursday and 9:45 Friday and Saturday\, and end at 6pm. Friday we will have an evening zikr from 6:30-8:30. We anticipate having 80 participants committed to the retreat and there will be a waiting list in case any part time slots are available. If you would like to offer rides or a place to stay to out-of-town participants\, that would be greatly appreciated.  Donations for the retreat are also welcome.

This will be an excellent experience for dance leaders. \n“Our Nature Is to Love\, So Love WILDLY!”\nThis is the theme we have chosen to help inspire and shape our planning as we move towards camp. Be prepared for an exciting week\, filled with dancing\, singing\, playing\, praying\, sharing\, eating\, learning\, and loving\, and be prepared to get a little bit (or a lot) WILD with all of it! \nDance Leader Bios\nThe planning team is excited about the Dance Leaders we have invited to be with us at camp this year. Grace D Marie\, who is based in Colorado\, and Yarrow Nelson\, who is based in California\, will each be bringing high quality and inspiring Dances to enliven our hearts and get our bodies moving. Here is a bit about each of them. \n\nGrace D Marie was born in the US to immigrant Polish parents. The picnics in the forest\, parks\, picking mushrooms after a rainstorm\, visiting farms\, singing in a choir from childhood\, in addition to Polish weddings once a month with music and dance\, were a beautiful life foundation. She has a degree in Forest and Natural Resources Management\, and has worked for the Forest Service in Alaska and Colorado. \nGrace’s love of the natural world led her to learn how to read\, hear\, and decipher the sounds of nature\, the beings of nature\, seen and unseen\, with elder teachers. This combination of music\, dance\, and natural sciences formed the foundation of Grace’s focus on the body in movement therapy to exercise the relationship with our inner and outer world. She has shared her focus of peace through movement and dance with many communities worldwide through Dances of Universal Peace. \n\nYarrow Nelson has been a long-time leader of the Dances of Universal Peace in the Ithaca\, NY and San Luis Obispo\, CA areas. He runs the Dancing Hearts Dance Leader Training camp in the San Luis Obispo area every spring\, where new Dance leaders have been unfolding for the past 20 years. \nYarrow’s spiritual path is closely tied to his love for Nature\, and he is now helping to lead the Ziraat concentration\, which invites us to connect with Nature through the wisdom of Hazrat Inayat Khan. DESCRIPTION:Come join us for three days of dancing and music in the Bitterroot Valley Montana. The Hamilton Dance Camp is led by the Montana Dances of Universal Peace team and more! This diverse team will carry us through many spiritual traditions of the world in the ancient practice of community circle dance. \nHomestead Organics Farm\, 175 Skalkaho Hwy\, Hamilton\, MT 59840 \nWhat We Do \nNo experience or partner needed. Each dance is taught in place: we are given a short song easy steps and the meaning (or attunement) of what we are doing. Then we move! We do songs from a wide variety of sources: native Christianity Judaism or eastern Sufi practices. Often they are simple chants or inspiring poems. \nThe magic is the circle. Each person (you included) is what creates this magic. Humans evolved singing and celebrating in circle dance. As soon as you step into the circle you’ll know you are home. \nWhat’s it Like? Dancing with us is like joining a tribe. When we first come together we often don’t know each other’s names but become immediate brothers and sisters. The music brings us together. The camp is held by elder wisdom with experienced leaders who have been doing this for over thirty years. Often something new like this can be uncomfortable but we know how to bring you in with a smooth transition from aloneness to togetherness. There is an essence in every human being that yearns for togetherness. We use our feet simple music and ancient wisdom to create a moving space of heart. \nIt doesn’t matter what you wear… just as long as you are there! \nFrom Zareen: My goal for this camp is to provide an inexpensive space where we can all come together sing dance and dive deeper into new possibilities. The buds upon the flower of our Being can remain dormant until the environment\, circumstances\, or the season of our life calls us to break open and evolve from apparent contracted conditions. Troncones has numerous hotels from budget to extravagant\, ditto\nrestaurants\, and no loud music venues or huge resort hotels. The ocean hosts spectacular sunrises and sunsets\, many pelicans and opportunities for boogie boarding. The retreat venue has two large grassy lawns\, shaded by tall palm trees.
