DESCRIPTION:Nearest Airports: Alamosa\, CO; or Denver if you can drive a few hours \nTime of Year: The closest weekend (Thurs-Sunday) to March 12 that’s possible (that’s Bernie and Sky’s shared birthday) \nWeather: Cold\, and it can snow; but we’re inside for all group gatherings. \nWho Attends: People from our intermountain west community (Montana through Colorado\, Arizona\, NM and Utah) as well as the Midwest and sometimes people from further away. \nAccommodations: Lodging (rooms\, yurts) onsite\, onsite camping with electricity available\, motels and b’n’bs commuting distance away. \nSpecial Considerations: Breakfasts and dinners are included for onsite lodgers. Wi-fi at the site. \nSpecial Features: Soaking in well maintained hot springs pools. We invite leaders into the center throughout the camp. Other features: Usually a talented musicians’ circle; Thursday morning check in circle; sometimes a clothing exchange and bazaar. DESCRIPTION:Our principal guest is Ana María Hoyos from the ecovillage La Atlantida in Colombia\, she has walked the path of the Dances of Universal Peace and Native American ancestral practices both in parallel and as an integrated journey for the past 21 years.  \nThis experience has led her to the understanding and realization that we are all part of a vast web of relationships in which our consciousness interacts with that of the mountains\, the lagoons\, the birds\, the plants\, and ultimately\, with all of creation. She believes that the spirit of Sufism aligns and harmonizes perfectly with native wisdom in the profound expressions: “Toward the ONE\,” “We are One with the Universe\,” and “With and for all our relations.”  \nShe passionately weaves connections with sacred places through Sacred Walks\, offering rituals\, payment ceremonies\, and the healing traditions of South America\, including Chicha\, the sacred drink of the Andes.
